Edgerton Branch Holiday Open House
Saturday, December 14, 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Join us for the Edgerton Branch’s Holiday Open House Saturday, December 14 to celebrate the improvements made to the branch during its renovation. The event will include entertainment provided by Christmas with the Cool Cats (registration required), refreshments, an “I Love My Library” selfie station, and a visit by Library’s mascot, Marty the Martian.
All visitors to the branch on Saturday, December 14 (10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.), will receive a $10 fine forgiveness token. In addition, all can participate in the Edgerton Branch Scavenger Hunt from December 14–20 using the free GooseChase app for a chance to win a $50 TREX gift card. Learn more.

The renovation of this branch was part of the second phase of MCPL’s Capital Improvement Plan. This project was made possible by funds from Proposition L. The architects were SAPP Design (Springfield, MO) and Helix Architecture + Design, Inc. (Kansas City, MO), and the construction firm for all projects was JE Dunn.
The following updates have been made to the Edgerton Branch during its renovation:
- New windows and lighting
- Refreshed exterior with automatic entry doors
- Outdoor seating area
- New paint
- New, updated public computers
- Improved Wi-Fi coverage and access
- Landscape enhancements
