Temporary closing date: November 8, 2018
Reopening date: January 2019
In order to complete construction on the North Platte branches with as little downtime as possible, all three branches (Camden Point, Dearborn and Edgerton) will be temporarily closed at the same time. A closing date will be posted here when it has been determined, and Edgerton Branch customers will receive an email with closure date information approximately one month prior to the branch closing.
Holds and Returns
Before November 8, Edgerton Branch customers are asked to check out any items you have been notified are available at the Edgerton Branch for pickup. Any holds not picked up before close of business on November 7 will be transferred to:
120 Richardson Street
Smithville, MO 64089 816.532.0116
After the closing date, Library materials that become available and were scheduled to be picked up at the Edgerton Branch will be transferred to and available at the Smithville Branch. If you would like your holds assigned to a different branch during this renovation, please call or visit any MCPL branch and ask a staff member for assistance in redirecting your holds to your desired location.
The branch book drop will not be available for use while the branch is closed. Materials can be returned to any MCPL location not closed for construction.
Edgerton Branch customers are welcome to attend storytimes at other MCPL locations during the branch’s closure.
