A new Riverside Branch will be coming soon! Separate from the Library’s Capital Improvement Plan funded by Prop L, MCPL’s Board of Trustees approved a plan to construct a replacement building for the Library’s aging Riverside Branch. Made possible by a contribution from the city of Riverside, construction of the new MCPL Riverside Branch at 4150 NW Gateway Avenue is slated to begin in 2023.

Your New Library Experience Is Coming!
The Riverside Branch will be a new approximately 13,000-square-foot facility that will include:
- A community room
- Meeting rooms
- Upgraded technology
The construction of the new branch building is made possible by a contribution from the City of Riverside. The architects are SAPP Design (Springfield, MO) and Helix Architecture and Design, Inc. (Kansas City, MO), and the construction firm for all projects is JE Dunn.
