A new Riverside Branch will be coming soon! Made possible in part by a contribution from the city of Riverside, construction of the new MCPL Riverside Branch at 4510 NW Gateway Avenue, Riverside, MO. is slated to be complete in 2024.
The current Riverside Branch will close at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. Any holds not picked up by that time and all holds that become available after that time will be transferred to the Parkville Branch.
Your New Library Experience Is Coming!
The Riverside Branch will be a new, approximately 12,500-square-foot facility that will include:
- Community programming room
- Two collaboration rooms
- Children’s area
- Teen area
- Outdoor seating
- Updated Wi-Fi and technology
- Native landscaping
The construction of the new branch building is made possible by a contribution from the City of Riverside. The architects are SAPP Design (Springfield, MO) and Helix Architecture and Design, Inc. (Kansas City, MO), and the construction firm is JE Dunn.
