Meet Leah
In this short documentary, MCPL meets its neighbor Leah La Faver, Ph.D., a South Kansas City educator and mother of two. A lifelong musician and student, Leah shares her love of learning both with her daughters and her students in the Hickman Mills School District. In her role running the CORE program at Hickman Mills, Leah helps students gain real-world skills that they can apply outside the classroom.
