How to Earn Rewards and Prizes
Participants up to age 19 earn a free book for every 20 days they complete the 20-minute reading challenge. In addition, these participants earn an entry for the grand prize drawings when they complete all 60 days.
Prize Books
Stop by your local branch after reaching the 20, 40, and 60-day milestones to pick up your choice of prize books. The books are yours to take home and keep reading all year long!
Grand Prizes
In addition to prize books, all participants up to age 19 who are registered in Beanstack and complete 60 days of reading, will be entered to win a grand prize, as well as prizes from our Community Partners.
Readers up to age 19 who have completed the 60-day reading challenge will be entered for the following grand prizes.
- Age 0-5: Tonie Box, book tote, and 2 additional Tonie characters
- Age 6-12: Two KiwiCo Crates (STEAM activities), book tote, and novelty socks
- Age 13-19: Two KiwiCo Crates (Tech and Art activities), book tote, and novelty socks
In addition, all readers aged 0-19 who are registered in Beanstack and finish at least 20 days of reading will be entered to win a prize from one of our Community Partners, including:
- Family 4 packs of tickets to the Kansas City Zoo
- Family 4 packs of tickets and a parking pass to the Kansas City Royals
- Family 4 packs of tickets to Sea Life Aquarium
- 2 tickets and a free popcorn at B&B Theatres
Finally, the Kansas City Zoo has provided one Friends of the Zoo Family Membership, good for one year. All readers who log 60 or more days of reading in Beanstack will be automatically entered into this drawing.

Adults Can Participate, too!
After logging 60 days of reading 20 minutes a day (in the Beanstack Tracker app, website, or on a paper log), adults ages 20+ earn a commemorative All Together Now Summer Library Program Glass. Just stop by your local branch after completing the challenge to pick up yours!
