Storytimes

Early literacy storytimes help children develop these skills through Talking, Singing, Reading, Writing, and Playing. Your child's early literacy journey will include picture books, music, fingerplays, movement activities, literacy tips, and more. Use the information listed below to select the programs right for your children:

  • Early Literacy Storytime for Babies
    0 - 18 months and a caregiver
  • Early Literacy Storytime for Toddlers
    18 - 36 months and a caregiver
  • Early Literacy Storytime for Preschoolers
    3 - 5 years and a caregiver
  • Early Literacy Storytime for Families - families of all ages

All Toddler, Preschool, and Family Storytimes will be participating in a Kindergarten Readiness series this fall. Learn more.

Please call ahead if you are planning to bring a group as many branches offer special group programs. If school is not in session, please check with your local branch to see if they will be having Storytime.
