Missouri artist Thomas Hart Benton is best known for his midwestern "Regionalist" paintings, but he also painted many western scenes. Steve Sitton with the Thomas Hart Benton Home & Studio State Historic Site will explore the five themes that are found in Benton’s western works: exploration, Native Americans, trains, progress, and life in the west.
