Your Gift Goes Further on Library Giving Day

Your Gift Goes Further on Library Giving Day

March 26, 2021

Library Giving Day, April 7, is an online fundraising event established to celebrate libraries nationwide. Donations made on Library Giving Day support the incredible programs, services, and materials that libraries provide for their communities.

Mid-Continent Public Library is proud to participate in Library Giving Day. All funds raised from the campaign will go to purchase additional Wi-Fi hotspots available for checkout through MCPL’s new Wi-Fi To Go service.

Mid-Continent Public Library is continually dedicated to providing critical services to our community when and where they need them. Over the past year in particular, many families faced barriers to accessing the internet, an essential tool for many aspects of life. Wi-Fi To Go hotspots provide families with access to essential online resources including work, school, telehealth visits, paying bills, applying for jobs, and more.

You can help us reach our campaign goal of $3,500 to purchase 20 additional hotspots (including annual service)! Now through April 7, all gifts made to the Library Giving Day campaign will be matched 1:1 by the Mid-Continent Public Library Foundation. Your gift will be doubled, making twice the impact on our community.

You can make your matched gift now at mymcpl.org/LibraryGivingDay.

Thank you for helping libraries strengthen our communities and transform lives every day.
