Join us in #GivingTech this #GivingTuesday!
The Library is a lifeline for many in our community who are without a computer in the home or reliable access to the internet. MCPL’s Technology To Go services help students complete homework, job seekers find and secure their next role, and seniors stay in touch with their families. Last year alone, MCPL’s Chromebook To Go kits were checked out 1,150 times.
MCPL customers rely on this service for remote work, school, job interviews, paying bills, telehealth visits, and more. However, a limited number of devices and long wait times prevent the service from reaching everyone who needs it. In order to keep up with demand, MCPL needs to add at least 100 more Chromebooks to its collection.
That’s why this #GivingTuesday, we are #GivingTech to those who need it most. We need your help by midnight on #GivingTuesday on November 28 to add 100 Chromebook To Go kits, so we can ensure everyone has access to the technology they need. We hope you’ll join us in bridging the digital divide on this global day of giving, collaboration, and generosity.
