Gallery Wall at the Midwest Genealogy Center

The Midwest Genealogy Center offers a gallery exhibit space to showcase the stories of Kansas City and Midwest communities, past and present. The gallery wall is a 55-foot space within the Conference Center at MGC that is available for viewing any time MGC is open. The gallery wall may not be available when other non-public events are being held at the Conference Center. MGC is generally open 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Kansas City Lights: A Night at the KC Opry

Kansas City Lights: A Night at the KC Opry featured a selection of images from the MGC Archives’ Englewood Theater collection and it ran from January 5th-March 27th, 2026. 

A Soul in Focus

A Soul in Focus: Portrait Photography Through the Years featured examples of portrait photography found in the Midwest Genealogy Center Archives. This exhibit was on display through October 17, 2025.
