Ever Heard of Zora Neale Hurston

As we all know, February is Black History Month. I don't want to highlight all the usual African-Americans that we usually hear about at this time of year. Instead, I decided to talk about Zora Neale Hurston.
 
Zora was an American folklorist, anthropologist, and novelist born in Notasulga, Alabama on January 7, 1891. She spent most of her young life in Eatonville, Florida, just 5 miles from Orlando. As a child, she was very smart and curious. She was always wondering how and why things happened.

Need a Good Quick Recipe? Try a Taco Ring!

Seriously, if you need a good recipe, you should try Taco Ring. My mom taught me how to make it. The only odd part is laying out the crescent rolls; but, if you look at my pictures, I think you’ll understand. It’s worth it, I promise. It is delicious and easy!

¾ lb. ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
2 T. water
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 packages of refrigerated crescent rolls

Extra Topping Ideas
Lettuce, Salsa, Sour Cream, Tomatoes
