Once again, it's the end of the month and almost time for next month's book club at the Grain Valley Branch. We will be discussing The Last Jihad by Joel C. Rosenberg. I found this to be an exciting book. I hope all of the book club patrons enjoyed it as well.

Have you been thinking of adding a new pet to your family? If so, think rescue. Midwest Animal Res-Q is a licensed foster home based rescue whose main objective is to save as many pets as possible. These wonderful people give these pets a temporary home until they can find them a forever home.
