Partnerships

Family History Books is a collection of published genealogy and family history books.  The Midwest Genealogy Center is collaborating with the Family History Library program to add scanned images of many books within the MGC collection to this valuable online archive.

The Ancestry.com Yearbook Program is scanning school annuals owned by the Midwest Genealogy Center. To get to the Yearbook Collection, follow these steps:

  • Go to Ancestry Library Edition
  • Click Search (at the top of the page)
  • Click Schools, Directories & Church Histories (along the right-hand side)
  • Click School Lists & Yearbooks (on the right side under Narrow by Category)

Borrowing Microfilm Not Owned by MGC

This form allows you to place an order for microfilm from other repositories to be sent to the Midwest Genealogy Center or Mid-Continent Public Library branch of your choice. If you want to order film or fiche from the Family History Library Center, please do this in person at one of the Mid-Continent Public Libraries.
