Mid-Continent Public Library Staff

More than 900 dedicated staff members work together every day to answer questions, find the right resources, recommend interesting books, and help solve challenges in customers’ lives. At Mid-Continent Public Library, we are dedicated to excellent customer service.

We Grow Readers

The Library is committed to helping parents and caregivers set their children on the path to academic success. Our early literacy programs and resources foster school readiness and support children in reaching the pivotal milestone of reading at grade level by third grade.

We Support the Community

MCPL’s 31 branches are open a combined 1,989 hours each week. During this time, they offer resources and services that enhance the lives of all community members. MCPL’s offerings range widely from free Wi-Fi and study space to ESL classes and Tax Help for Seniors.

We Are More Than Just Books

We love books; our shelves are full of them! But MCPL has so much more – from online homework help for kids to business resources for entrepreneurs to free access to popular magazines. Call your local branch to see how the Library can help you!

Welcome to MCPL!
