The Story Center program submissions are now open! The Story Center is looking for educational programs about written, oral, and digital storytelling. We accept program proposals from a vast array of fields and backgrounds. Our programming needs change from quarter to quarter, so we will keep your proposal on file for future consideration. We aim to reply to all submissions within one month. Learn more about The Story Center.
- MCPL policy prohibits selling of products or services during programs, with exception for authors and musicians (who may sell books, CDs, and/or DVDs). Exceptions have also been made for non-profit organizations and/or community partners. We do not take requests for book signings, launches, or similar events. If you are searching for places to sign books, we recommend contacting independent bookstores. If you're looking for our ReadLOCAL author program, you can find more on our ReadLOCAL page.
- We require all presenters to fill out a W9 form for payment. After the completed program, presenters must submit invoice.
- Please note our programs take place on weekday evenings and weekends.
- We may require an in-person meeting to discuss the details of your program.
If you have any questions, please email Story Center Program Manager, Shannon Thompson, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
