Customers with hearing and speech impairments can access type-to-text communications devices at any of the 31 MCPL locations.
If you do not have time to come inside, you can just drop your books in the book drop outside.

Check out books for your community book group to enjoy.
Career Online High School
Enroll in a fully-accredited, online high school program to earn your diploma as well as a career certificate.
Rooms are available for public use at multiple MCPL locations.
Print in black and white or color as well as scan images to a USB drive.
Explore movie making, web design, app building, game development, and much more.
Daycare and School Visits
Bring your school to visit the Library or have the Library come to you!
Four MCPL locations have a drive-up window for you to return items and pick up holds.
Early Literacy Station
Our early literacy computers let kids explore technology in a safe environment with literacy-building games.
You can send faxes from the Library, but not receive them.
Access free wireless internet at all MCPL locations.
Six MCPL branches have Google Fiber Internet at their locations. This includes the following branches: Antioch, Blue Ridge, North Oak, Red Bridge, Raytown, and the Woodneath Library Center.
Enjoy a drink or snack during your visit to the Library.
You can request materials from other libraries throughout the U.S. for free.
Qualifying homebound customers can get library materials delivered to them free of charge.
Each Library-To-Go is an automated system to pick up holds, return materials, and check out DVDs and music CDs.
Meet and Eat
MCPL is partnering with Harvesters to provide free meals to kids 18 and under throughout the summer.
Mobile Device and Remote Printing
Print items from your mobile device or home computer at select MCPL locations.
The Woodneath Library Center has a dedicated room for nursing mothers and children to use. Customers may ask the staff member at the information desk for use of the room.
Each Library branch has computers for public use.
The following branches offer a limited number of laptops for customer use inside the Library: Blue Ridge, Blue Springs South, Claycomo, Excelsior Springs, and Grandview. These laptops follow the same procedures as our Public Computers.
Teachers can submit requests to library staff for collections of items for use in the classroom.
Test Proctoring Services
MCPL provides a test proctoring service for students to help them pursue their educational goals.
All MCPL branches are voter registration sites.
