Your New Library Experience Is Coming!
On Saturday, October 11, the Library announced that it is in the process of finalizing a long-term lease with LANE4 Property Group to relocate the branch to a space in the Red Bridge Shopping Center adjacent to the Euston Hardware Store facing Red Bridge Road.
The new location will be 14,352 square feet – more than 2,300 square feet larger than the current branch.
The Red Bridge Branch will continue to operate throughout the renovation of the new space. The current plan is to sell the building the branch occupies following its move to the new space.
The renovation of this branch is part of the second phase of MCPL’s Capital Improvement Plan. This project is made possible by funds from Proposition L. The architects are SAPP Design (Springfield, MO) and Helix Architecture + Design, Inc. (Kansas City, MO), and the construction firm for all projects is JE Dunn.
