The newly constructed Grain Valley Branch opened to the public on October 4, 2023. The brand-new building features a wide array of upgraded amenities across its 12,500 square feet.

The Grain Valley Branch is a new 12,500-square-foot facility that includes:
- A community room
- Two meeting rooms
- Children's area
- Outdoor space
The construction of a new branch building is part of the Library’s Capital Improvement Plan, which is made possible by funds from Proposition L. The architects are SAPP Design (Springfield, MO) and Helix Architecture and Design, Inc. (Kansas City, MO), and the construction firm for all projects is JE Dunn.
