Yellow was the symbolic color of the national women’s suffrage movement. Suffragists encouraged supporters to “show your colors” by wearing yellow ribbons, buttons, and sashes. Hear stories of the struggle for women’s suffrage and the ratification of the 19th amendment featuring Ida B. Wells, Susan B. Anthony, Amelia Bloomer, and more.
