Join storyteller Rich White, the winner of the 2019 Missouri's State Liar's Contest, for a lesson on tall tales. Learn the differences between tall tales, outlandish tales, and lies. Learn “Why tell tall tales?” and “What makes a good tall tale?” Then practice a story of your own and get feedback from your peers. Walk away with a list of resources, including where to find an audience for your tales. This event is a part of the Oral Storytelling Certificate Program. Participants will be emailed a Zoom access code 30 minutes before the start of the program, so please include your email in the registration. Please note: You must sign into the room prior to the start of the program. Admittance to the classroom will close five minutes after the program's start time. Space is limited.
