Romance GenreCon 2022 Fan Fest

This year’s GenreCon will focus on historical romances with a variety of presentations. Attendees will not only have the opportunity to attend sessions and book signings with romance authors, but can even purchase a ticket to have dinner with their favorite author! Kicking off the fan track will be a welcome party and Lady KC Reading Salon on Friday night, followed by a “State of the Genre” author panel on Saturday morning, which will focus on current issues in the industry, including the importance of diversity and inclusion in romance novels. Our featured book seller this year is Bliss Books & Wine who will get Saturday going right with a fun craft project. Saturday also brings special workshops like THE DOCTOR WILL SEE YOU NOW... a bawdy meander through the history of medicine. You can also learn about medieval food and play card games with the authors. All of this culminates in a giant book fair which will include our featured authors as well as many well-known authors from Kansas City and the surrounding area.
