Join Super Monster City cofounders David Barnhill and Stephen Rueff for an exciting look at some of the most iconic monsters, superheroes and villains featured in pop culture. This presentation will include toys, games, and posters featuring characters such as Dracula, Frankenstein, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Joker, Green Goblin, and more. You will also get a chance to learn about the artists behind these characters, their origin stories, and the social political contexts that these characters have navigated across the decades. Program registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Participants will be emailed a Zoom access code 15 minutes before the start of the program. So please include your email in the registration. Please note: You must sign into the room prior to the start of the program. Admittance to the classroom will close five minutes after the program's start time. Space is limited.
