Join Michelle Irwin from First Call KC for this educational presentation on the biology of mind-altering drug use and how addiction happens specifically with the prescription drug/opioid crisis. This presentation will also cover the impact of Opioid/Prescription Drug use in our community and why and how to say no. Registration is required. Program registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Participants will be emailed a Zoom access code 15 minutes before the start of the program. So please include your email in the registration. Please note: You must sign into the room prior to the start of the program. Admittance to the classroom will close five minutes after the program's start time. Space is limited. This program is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
