Join retired Kansas City Detective Gary Jenkins for the story of Kansas City’s Civella Spero mob war of the 1970s. Part of a surveillance team created in 1977 to prevent mob murders, Jenkins will share his account of the war as well as video recordings of other first-person accounts of the conflict. Program registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Participants will be emailed a Zoom access code 15 minutes before the start of the program. So please include your email in the registration. Please note: You must sign into the room prior to the start of the program. Admittance to the classroom will close five minutes after the program's start time. Space is limited.
