Join our Mad Scientist for a journey into the world of color. Students will explore the color spectrum using prisms, discover what fireworks and astronomy have in common, and observe how pigments blend differently from light and how they are combined to produce colors. To experiment along with the Mad Scientist, the At Home Activity Supply List for this program includes colorful candies (such as M&Ms); coffee filters (at least 1); plates (1 per coffee filter); 1 cup of warm water; coloring supplies in rainbow colors (such as markers); white paper; tall drinking glass or vase filled with room temperature water; paper towels or a kitchen towel (for clean up). Program registration will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Participants will be emailed a Zoom access code 15 minutes before the start of the program. So please include your email in the registration. Please note: You must sign into the room prior to the start of the program. Admittance to the classroom will close five minutes after the program's start time. Space is limited.
