In this free 10-week, hands-on training series, you’ll be taken through the steps of scaling your food product! Subjects include food product regulation, sales, logistics, HR, marketing, and branding. You will be shown useful tips that will help you scale your business and know who to advertise to. The class culminates in a pitching session featuring local stores and distributors. You’ll also have one-on-one time with industry leading experts, and receive an individualized session in the on-site kitchen to review the most efficient preparation processes. For the chance to participate, you must submit an application into a competitive selection process. Acceptance into the food manufacturing school is competitive and limited. Not all applications will be accepted. Application is accessible through this link (http://bit.ly/2Mn0T5d) or by visiting the Ennovation Center’s website: www.ennovationcenter.com. This program is presented by Mid-Continent Public Library’s Square One Small Business Services and the Ennovation Center. It is funded by a grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
