Whether you’re launching a food truck or stand, opening a café or restaurant, or you are a farmer and producer, there are several things to consider around the business of food. Join Mid-Continent Public Library’s Square One Small Business Services, Adrienne B. Haynes Esq. of SEED Law, the SEED LAW team for a food business workshop to learn the details of establishing your business legally, complying with licensing and permits, and understanding the Fair Packaging & Labeling Act standards. Learn from some of Kansas City’s most successful foodpreneurs, subject matter experts, and local authorities. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for coffee and networking. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. Registration is required.
