When is it appropriate to tell the oral stories of another culture? What is the difference between cultural appropriation and utilizing storytelling as a tool to engage with other traditions and ways of life? Join veteran storytellers Jim "Two Crows" Wallen and Brother John as they discuss their thoughts on how--or if--to tell the stories of other cultures. This class is part of the Oral Storytelling Certificate Program as a Storytelling Elective. This program will take place in person at The Story Center Historic Home. Please make sure to register the number of guests in your party. Space is limited. This program was made in collaboration with River and Prairie Storyweavers.
