Use Ancestry Library Edition at Home!

Ancestry recently announced that it will generously allow public libraries to give their customers remote access to Ancestry Library Edition through the end of June! This means that all customers with a current MCPL Access Pass (Library card) can now use Ancestry to work on their genealogy projects at home! To do this, you must access Ancestry Library Edition through MCPL’s website, and log in with your card number, just like you would for any of the other remotely accessible online resources.

In addition to Ancestry Library Edition, there are many other genealogy resources that you can access from home! See a complete list of the Library’s online genealogy resources here. For assistance using any of MCPL’s online resources, email
