New Resources You Can Use From Home!

With everyone spending a lot more time at home recently, some of the online resources that MCPL offers its customers have begun providing additional services to help customers during this time. These additional services are temporary, so take advantage of them while you can!

Ancestry Library Edition

Ancestry recently announced that it will generously allow public libraries to give their customers remote access to Ancestry Library Edition through the end of August! This means that all customers with a current MCPL Access Pass (Library card) can now use Ancestry to work on their genealogy projects at home! To do this, you must access Ancestry Library Edition through MCPL’s website, and log in with your card number, just like you would for any of the other remotely accessible online resources.

Ancestry Library Edition will be available for MCPL customers to use from home until the end of September.

TeenBookCloud is an online database of eBooks and educator resources perfect for middle school and high school. It offers a robust selection of graphic novels, enhanced novels, eBooks, classic literature, National Geographic videos, educator resources, and audiobooks. The collection is available online around the clock—no downloads, no waiting! If you can access the internet, you can be reading, watching, or listening to fantastic content.
