MCPL Introduces “Your Next Read”

December 2, 2020

Not sure what to read next? Have you read all the works by your favorite authors and would like something similar? Maybe you’re seeking books on a particular subject and don’t know where to start? We can help! Check out Your Next Read, MCPL’s brand-new reading service that caters to your specific reading needs.

Just fill out our dynamic online form, and you’ll receive personalized reading suggestions based on your preferences. This service is available for all your book needs, no matter the age!

When you submit your form, our dedicated, experienced team will work hard to find “Your Next Read” and will reply to you promptly within 48-72 hours.

  • Adults and teens can expect a list of 3-5 books.
  • Kids can expect a list of 5-7 books.
  • Children (Ages 0-5) can expect a list of 7-10 books.

You’ll receive a list that links directly to our catalog with comments from your list creator. This means you can go ahead and place a hold straight away! If you’d like support in placing holds, please contact your local MCPL branch, and staff will be happy to place those holds for you.

Check out the page Your Next Read, and fill out a form today!

If you have any questions about the service, please contact our team at yournextread@mymcpl.org.
