Give Libby a Try!

Give Libby a Try!

Do you want to give eBooks a try but aren’t sure where to start? You can download Libby (by OverDrive) if your device is running iOS 9+, Android 4.4+, or Windows 10 for desktops/tablets, version 1607. Libby is an OverDrive product that utilizes the same OverDrive catalog. Ready to get started with eBooks and eAudiobooks in Libby? Watch this video on how to install and set up Libby!

After you have Libby set up, it’s incredibly easy to browse, check out, and download a title. Once you’re ready to start reading in Libby, take a peek at this video. It will walk you through how to browse, borrow, and begin reading your title! Now you can read or listen to titles in Libby.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I LOVE Libby.
How do I see the same book on both my iPads and iPhone?
Right now there are different books on each shelf.
As I watched your helpful video I noticed a share button under the Kindle and Libby choices when checking out the title.
Was that that spot to share on my devices?
Once the book is checked out is it too late to share?
Thank you!

Hello Jennifer,

As long as you have the same library card added to the Libby app on each device, they should sync up.

The Libby app on my phone will not work. Black screen comes up with tiny words: uploading. Something I can do?

Please email us at with your library card number, the type of phone you are using, and a screenshot of the issue, and we will see how we can help.

The first steps I would recommend trying would be to delete the app, restart your device, and then reinstall the app.

Thank you,
