You'll have a chance to earn bucks to redeem for great books each time you complete a review.
Guidelines for Teens 6th through 12th grade
Write a short book review (25 words or more) online to earn Teen Bucks that can be redeemed for Library services* and books. Pay off Library fines, make copies, get a replacement card, or choose from a variety of books! Each review will enter you into a grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire HDX!
Bucks can be redeemed for books until Aug. 3 and for services until the end of 2014.
*Library fines for lost items, damaged items, or collection fees cannot be paid using Teen Bucks.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many books do I have to read?
There is no set number of books to read. Our new Summer Reading Program rewards you for the number of reviews you write.
How many teen bucks can I earn this summer?
You may earn up to 25 teen bucks per summer.
Must I read Library books?
No. One of the goals of the program is to encourage exploration of the wide variety of books.
I just completed the 5th grade. Can I be in both the regular and teen programs?
You are welcome to choose one or the other, but not both.
Can I participate at more than one branch?
With our new registration system you can keep your reading log online and pick up your books at any branch [except Midwest Genealogy Center].
Do I need to turn in a paper list?
No. Our new registration system keeps your log online. It is paper-free which is good for the environment, and you don't have to worry about losing your list!
When can I pick up my earned book? What do I get?
You are eligible to pick up a reading incentive beginning May 19th. Teen readers receive a teen buck that they can use for books or Library services.

When does the program end?
The program ends July 31st, 2014.
