The Date of Easter

"The commonly stated rule, that Easter Day is the first Sunday after the full moon that occurs next after the vernal equinox, is somewhat misleading because it is not a precise statement of the actual ecclesiastical rules." This site gives the rules, a chart of the dates of Easter for the years 1980-2024, and an algorithm that "will compute the date of Easter in the Gregorian calendar system."

UNV Online Volunteering Service
