British Library Newspaper Library Catalogue

The catalog is searchable by keyword and sorted by title, date, or place. Entries include place, main title, numbers, dates, shelfmark, dates held on microfilm, and other notes. The British Library Newspaper Library's holdings include "all UK national daily and Sunday newspapers from 1801 to the present; most UK and Irish provincial newspapers, some from the early 18th century onwards; and other selected newspapers.

Canadian Genealogy and History

This site features a listing of genealogical and historical web sites from East to Western Sea in Canada.

CastleGarden.org

CastleGarden.org offers free access to an extraordinary database of information on 10 million immigrants from 1830 through 1892, the year Ellis Island opened. Over 73 million Americans can trace their ancestors to this early immigration period.

Cemeteries and Cemetery Records

The heart of this site is a database of more than three million burial records and tombstone inscriptions for over 8,000 cemeteries worldwide.

Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System

Database of 6.3 million names of soldiers from both sides of the war, representing 44 states and territories. Names are linked to regimental histories and, in turn, capsule histories of battles.
