Access Video on Demand

Access Video provides instant access to world-class documentaries, award-winning educational films, and helpful instructional videos covering a wide range of subjects, such as business, career planning, health, history, travel, and more. Access Video videos can be viewed on PCs, Macs, iPads, and other Internet-enabled mobile devices.

American History in Video

American History in Video includes approximately one thousand hours of newsreels from the late 1890s to the 1980s. Beginning with the Spanish American War, the early films provide documentary footage of actual people, places, and events together with interviews and other broadcast content from the period. American History in Video will enrich any history program and can be widely used across a school curriculum.

AP Images

Users can search over a million images selected from the Associated Press image library featuring current and past news events, people, and places. This resource also includes audio files and text spanning over one hundred sixty years of history.

Dance in Video

Dance in Video contains dance productions and documentaries by the most influential performers and companies of the twentieth-century. Selections cover ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental, and improvisational dance, as well as forerunners of the forms and the pioneers of modern concert dance.

IndieFlix

IndieFlix is a streaming movie service that offers access to award-winning shorts, feature films, and documentaries. You can instantly view over forty-five hundred titles from more than fifty different countries, including the best from film festivals like Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, and more! IndieFlix has a "Mood Filter" that allows you to filter content by genre, length, or rating (ratings are All Ages, 13+, and 17+, not the MPAA ratings). You will need to create a free account to stream movies online. Note: Whenever you log in, you are required to acknowledge the following warning -- "Be advised that films on IndieFlix have not been rated by the MPAA and may contain offensive language, scenes of violence and sexual situations."

Opera in Video

Opera in Video contains some of the most important opera performances, captured on video through staged productions, interviews, and documentaries. Selections represent the world's best performers, conductors, and opera houses and are based on a work's importance to the operatic canon.

Theatre in Video

Theatre in Video contains more than two hundred fifty performances of the world's leading plays and more than one hundred film documentaries in streaming video. Users can bookmark specific scenes, monologues, and staging. It also includes interviews with directors, designers, writers, and actors.
