Historic Map Works is a full-color digital collection of historic maps. The core of the collection consists of over one hundred thousand land ownership maps detailing the geographic and development history of the United States over several hundred years. In addition, there are thousands of pages of illustrations and over one thousand city directories related to the maps. Antiquarian maps covering the world from the fifteenth to nineteenth centuries are included, as well.
This collection of more than eight hundred journals, twenty-nine reference titles, and travel handbooks from Fodor's provides well-rounded coverage of both the historical and current state of affairs in the hospitality and tourism fields. It is a resource for curious travelers and serious researchers alike.
