The Adventures of Merlin

I have been totally addicted to this series! If you haven’t guessed by my blog title, this series takes place in Camelot. It takes the angle of Merlin, and it evolves into his relationship with King Arthur and how they become best of friends through all the adventures that come their way. Merlin just happens to save King Arthur’s life in many adventures without taking any credit for himself.

Happy Birthday!

I decided to try to make some birthday cards, so I looked to see what books I could find at the Library. I found a lot of them, but the one I liked the best was Cardmaker’s Sketch Book: Birthday Celebrations. If you would like to try making some, this book is very easy to use.

One Rainy Day

Learning colors is fun when you read One Rainy Day by Tammi Salzano. Duck wears red boots, carries an orange umbrella, and jumps in blue puddles. He meets worms, frogs, and bugs, and sails a boat while playing in the rain. In the end, he finds a colorful rainbow.

This guide gave me insight into the best places in the area for lodging, dining, shopping, and recreation.

Stan the Man

On January 19, 2013, one of the greatest hitters of all times passed away. Stan Musial was one of the best Cardinal players in the history of baseball. He had 475 home runs, including a record 5 in a double header. Of all his 3,630 career hits, 1,815 came at home and 1,815 were on the road.

He was a man of a different era, and his records are simply amazing. Another incredible statistic, he was married 71 years to his wife, Lillian. The couple resided in the St. Louis area, where he remained a beloved figure.
