Pie Anyone?

A co-worker shared her favorite book of all time, and recommended that I read it. Curiosity got the best of me, so I checked out the book, The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley.

The main character is an eleven year old girl named Flavia, with a very inquiring mind and a love of chemistry and poisons. When a dead bird with a stamp on its beak and a dead man turn up at the De Luce Estate, Flavia takes it upon herself to look for clues to solve this mystery.
