Bring the Movie Theater Home!

Both sets of my parents have a love/hate relationship with going to the movies. Once they’re there, it’s fine, but the mere thought of spending all of that money tends to put a foul taste in their mouths. A couple of years ago, I didn’t understand this. Going to the movies was fun and totally worth spending however much money my mom or stepmom spent, but now, it’s different. Get Through Awful Classes with Help from the Library!

The story uses the crime as a window into the teenager’s life and the effect his condition has on his family. It also addresses the difficulties that people with emotional and mental disabilities have in the legal system.
