As a little girl, I remember listening to my great-great-great Aunt Mary, who was born at the end of the nineteenth century, tell stories of a world without cars, telephones, or TV. She lived through two World Wars, voted for the first time at 25 after marching for suffrage, and endured the Great Depression. What a life she lived, and the lessons she taught me were priceless!
