Mid-Continent Public Library offers music for downloading to your computer and transferring to an MP3 player or an iPod. The service is provided through Freegal Music and is available to MCPL card holders.

Freegal Music is a downloadable music service that gives you access to about 3 million songs in MP3 format, including Sony Music’s catalog of artists. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 10,000 labels with music that originates in over 60 countries. There is no software to install. Songs downloaded will play in Windows Media Player, iTunes, and other popular music players. Downloaded music can also be transferred to an MP3 player or an iPod. Freegal Music limits song downloads to THREE per library customer per week. The week starts on Sundays at 11:00 p.m. Central Time.
