If this blog is a little soggy, it’s because I just watched the most heartfelt movie! The movie was called Hachi. I was honestly attracted to the movie because Richard Gere is the featured star. So, it seems only fittin' that Frank James will drop the Dearborn Branch and tell his story. A reenactor and storyteller will be here Monday evening, January 31st, at 7 p.m. to talk about Frank James' early life, the Civil War, and his outlaw days.
There's something magical about a big snowfall; even though we know it also bears its inconveniences and dangers. The trees and bushes seem to have a white frosting, and the morning sun sparkles off the ice crystals. KCI airport had about six inches of snow by Monday night, and with cold temperatures, it will still be here tomorrow.
