not amused either

Seriously, this is only how "creative' MCPL could get and I use the word "creative" loosely. All I saw were kids coming into the library being disrespectful of the books, computers, equipment and technology... paid for with tax payers' money, I might add. Unfortunately, in real life, I have seen more of this than I can ever care to remember at the MC I used go to.

I'm sure someone thought this was very entertaining but.... really????????????????????????? sad

Not Amused

I think it's great that there are reading clubs but it's scary to me that the clubs are all about casting spells with Harry Potter and now about death with Zombies. We need to wake up and live reality. These clubs form community which I would hope to be encouraging life and prosperity rather than encourage dark things such as death. There is enough death that is happening all around us, there is no need to keep it in the forefront of our minds. Night terrors develope this way, oh yeah I forgot, there is a drug for that right? What we put into our minds can haunt us forever. There is no drug that can take it away, it only helps to block it out until it wears off and we need higher and higher doses until it takes a life and the life it takes may have killed others in the rage to stop the haunting images that could've been prevented if we only paid attention and did not put that image in our minds in the first place. We are living in some pretty hard times right now, the economy is not getting better and the suicide/death rates/crime is going up especially among young people.

Zombies aren't the reasons

Zombies aren't the reasons for the economy downfall or suicide\death rates or crime. I'm guessing you are a republican. Chill out and let kids be kids. Is it really that bad I mean they spent their night at the library not out robbing and doing drugs.
