Your Best School Supply? A Library Card!

The Fourth of July holiday was barely over when stores had their back-to-school supplies on display, but the most useful and valuable school supply you can get for your child is not to be found on those shelves.  A library card and regular trips to the library will improve your child’s education more than the big box of crayons, 5 stretchy book covers, and a 6 section Trapper Keeper notebook combined. 

And it is free!  A library card gives the young scholar access to FREE on-line live homework help via the library’s website, access to dozens of information databases for research and for book report choice, and lists of recommended books for every reading age and interest.  Don’t send your child back to school without a library card, and help them use it often.
