Write the Right Way
November 17, 2011
As people everywhere are working away on writing a 50,000 word novel this month, we would like to draw your attention to all of the wonderful writing websites available in Web Resources. Aspiring writers will find several websites geared just for them. People can turn to these websites to brush up their writing skills, learn about getting published, find an answer to a grammar question, and acquire some tips for remembering how to spell some commonly misspelled words. The United States Copyright Office website can be found within this grouping as well as the National Novel Writing Month website. We encourage you to check out all of these great resources!

Copyrights, Copyrights...
I really enjoyed this list of links! I was especially interested in the US Copyright Office website. I had NO idea that your work is technically copyrighted the second it is tangible. It's also very interesting what they have to say about the Poor Man's Copyright not being reliable... I can't remember which publisher it was, but on one of the publisher's FAQ page they recommend using the Poor Man's Copyright ("despite what you might have heard elsewhere against it") I had to chuckle at that as "what I heard elsewhere" came from the Copyright Office website itself! :)
You guys always put together the coolest resources!
