Would You Read a Novel Composed Entirely Of Questions?
September 09, 2010
Am I joking? Is The Interrogative Mood: A Novel? really a novel? How could a book be composed entirely of questions and still be a novel?
Who would write such a strange novel? Why does the author like questions so much? Has the author written anything that wasn't made up entirely of questions?
Who is the narrator? Is there a coherent narrative to this book? Is that even important? Is this book really about the reader? Is this some kind of a stunt? Didn't Dadaism die out in the 1920s?
What is the interrogative mood, anyway?
Do you like to read books that challenge you as a reader? May I suggest that you give this book a try?
Who wrote this very strange blog post? (-Jeff D.)
Where does the author of this very strange blog post work? (Grandview Branch)
