I'll admit it; I'm a bit of a culture nut. I love learning about cultures around the world, eating food, and listening to music from other countries. Even my iPod is loaded with everything from a Lithuanian Ska/Funk group, to a Turkish alternative metal band, to a Swedish pop singer; all of which I love listening to even if only half their songs are in English.
I guess it's like they say, one of the greatest things about music is that the language is universal. You don't need to understand the lyrics to enjoy the sound of the singer's voice or the melody of the song. It's something you can appreciate despite language barriers.
So, whether you like a good Celtic beat or an African rhythm, we've got your worldly music tastes covered in our library system's CD collection. Check some out today and who knows; maybe you'll be the next person with a multicultural iPod!
