Love MCPL
In the age of computers and books online, I still enjoy the feel and turning of the pages of an actual book. And yes I enjoy technology and would really enjoy an e-reader. The staff at MCPL from Excelsior Springs branch to Midwest Genealogy Center are TOPS.
Courteous, very helpful and their knowledge at both branches can't be beat. MCPL is innovative and the whole world of books are at my fingertips thanks to WorldCat and inter-library loan, right from my home computer. All courtesy of MCPL !!

I love e readers and the library!
Free eReader
I truly love all that MCPL offers. Amazing! But the truth is, I would love to be able to give my mom this eReader. My mom is presently going through chemo and this would make it so much easier for her. My mom is truly a walking miracle. This is her fourth type of cancer and her attitude and spirit is beautiful. What a role model she is and she has touched the lives of so many watching what she has had to go through. I just wish I could give her a gift such as this. MCPL is definitely her home away from home. She is a crazy reader and I never know anyone who reads as fast she does. Your library is a very important part of all of our lives. Thank you for all that you do and offer. Very appreciated.

Our family LOVES MCPL and all of the programs that you offer. WE participate in the Homeschool Classes at the Smithville Branch, use the website continuously to put holds on books (excellent for busy mothers who don't have time to browse through books at the library), attend several of the family programs offered in the evenings and on Saturdays.
We love MCPL. However, we don't do Facebook in our home so I can't "like" you but we do "love" MCPL.
