Who is Melanie Sisneros, and Why Wikipedia is Awesome?

As a library employee, one of my duties is too blog. Book clubs, teen programs, and now, blogging! It’s not a bad gig, but every now and then, I just run out of ideas. Then, I got an idea on how to get an idea. I went to Wikipedia and clicked on "random article." My result was Melanie Sisneros. If it wasn’t for Wikipedia, then I would have no idea who this lady is. It turns out, she is a cat-loving bassist from New Mexico who is a member of 4 bands, including a Megadeth cover band and an all-female Led Zeppelin band called Mz Led. Her biggest influence is John Taylor from Duran Duran. Ugh! Now I have Rio going through my head! Oh! And she’s not related to the politician, Henry Cisneros. Wikipedia is a great place to find random information!
