What's What or What's In a Name?

October 26, 2010

A one L lama, he's a priest
A two LL llama, he’s a beast
And I would bet a silk pajama
There is no such thing as a three L llama
~Ogden Nash

Hulu, Lulu and Sockso are not baby babblings or duckling cousins to Huey, Louie, and Dewey. They are popular web site resources that do different things.

Hulu is the place to go to watch episodes of your favorite TV shows. Find trailers, teasers, and whole episodes of both TV shows and movies. If you're interested in finding more online TV shows, visit the Entertainment and Television sections of Web Resources.

Lulu provides a book self publishing service. Now you can create that illustrated family genealogy book, or preserve favorite family recipes. If you're interested in learning more about self publishing and writing, visit the Writing section of Web Resources

Sockso is a free music download site. Recommended as an alternative to Lala, you can share music with your friends online. Another free music site is Grooveshark. If you're interested in more online music options like Sockso and Grooveshark, visit the Music and Radio sections of Web Resources.

Knowing what's what lets you know where to go for pictures, words, and music (besides the library that is).
